Artikel 1 – Begrippen

Skicentrum Sassenheim
De onderneming Skicentrum Sassenheim, aanbieder van indoor ski- en snowboardlessen en aanverwante activiteiten.

SkiBook
Het online boekings- en administratiesysteem van Skicentrum Sassenheim waarmee cursisten lessen, cursussen en abonnementen kunnen boeken, verplaatsen of annuleren.

Cursist
Iedere natuurlijke persoon die deelneemt aan een les, cursus, activiteit of abonnement van Skicentrum Sassenheim.

Bezoekers
Iedere persoon die de locatie van Skicentrum Sassenheim bezoekt zonder deel te nemen aan een les of activiteit.

Leraren
Door Skicentrum Sassenheim ingeschakelde ski- of snowboardleraren die bevoegd zijn om lessen te verzorgen.

Medewerkers
Alle personen die werkzaam zijn voor of namens Skicentrum Sassenheim, inclusief ingeschakelde derden.

Skimachine
Een indoor rolpiste waarop ski- en snowboardlessen plaatsvinden.

Les
Een door Skicentrum Sassenheim georganiseerde ski- of snowboardactiviteit, waaronder flexlessen, privélessen, cursussen en trainingen.

Last-minute les
Een les die binnen 24 uur vóór aanvang wordt geboekt en gevolgd, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid.

Seizoen
De periode waarin Skicentrum Sassenheim lessen aanbiedt (doorgaans september t/m maart).

Abonnement
Een overeenkomst waarbij een cursist gedurende een bepaalde periode recht heeft op lessen of trainingen.

Artikel 2 – Toepasselijkheid

  1. Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn van toepassing op alle diensten van Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  2. Door een boeking via SkiBook gaat de cursist akkoord met deze voorwaarden.
  3. Zonder akkoord komt geen overeenkomst tot stand.
  4. Eventuele cursusvoorwaarden gaan boven deze algemene voorwaarden.
  5. Afwijkingen zijn alleen geldig indien schriftelijk bevestigd.
  6. Ongeldige bepalingen laten de rest van de voorwaarden onverlet.
  7. Skicentrum Sassenheim mag deze voorwaarden wijzigen; wijzigingen gelden niet voor bestaande overeenkomsten.

Artikel 3 – Totstandkoming overeenkomst

  1. De overeenkomst komt tot stand bij bevestiging van de boeking via SkiBook.
  2. De bevestiging per e-mail geldt als bewijs.
  3. Skicentrum Sassenheim mag een boeking weigeren of annuleren bij o.a. overmacht of technische problemen.
  4. Bij ongepast gedrag kan toegang worden geweigerd zonder recht op restitutie.
  5. De cursist is verantwoordelijk voor juiste gegevens.
  6. Kennelijke fouten zijn niet bindend.
  7. Minderjarigen worden vertegenwoordigd door ouder/voogd.
  8. Administratie van Skicentrum Sassenheim geldt als bewijs.
  9. Schade door onjuist gebruik van materiaal is voor rekening van de cursist.

Artikel 4 – Persoonsgegevens

  1. Gegevens worden verwerkt conform de AVG.
  2. Gegevens kunnen o.a. naam, contactgegevens, leeftijd en lesniveau omvatten.
  3. Alleen toegankelijk voor de cursist en relevante medewerkers.
  4. Privacybeleid is beschikbaar via de website en SkiBook.

Artikel 5 – Betaling

  1. Betaling verloopt via SkiBook tenzij anders overeengekomen.
  2. 14 dagen vooraf: aanbetaling + volledige betaling uiterlijk 14 dagen vóór les.
  3. <14 dagen vooraf: volledige betaling direct bij boeking.
  4. Bij niet tijdig betalen kan annulering volgen.
  5. Betaalplicht blijft ook na annulering bestaan.
  6. Herplanning is mogelijk bij betaling en beschikbaarheid.
  7. Geen betaling = geen toegang tot lessen.
  8. Prijswijzigingen gelden alleen voor nieuwe boekingen.

Artikel 6 – Herroepingsrecht

  1. Annuleren kan via SkiBook volgens voorwaarden.
  2. Wettelijk herroepingsrecht is uitgesloten voor datumgebonden diensten.
  3. In sommige gevallen geldt een vrijwillige bedenktijd:
  4. 7 weken tot eerste les: 14 dagen bedenktijd
    • <14 dagen: geen bedenktijd
  5. Indien van toepassing: terugbetaling binnen 14 dagen.

Artikel 7 – Annuleren en verplaatsen

Door de cursist

  1. Per lestype gelden specifieke regels.
  2. Te laat annuleren = les vervalt zonder restitutie.
  3. Tijdige annulering kan leiden tot een last-minute tegoed.
  4. Last-minute lessen zijn 24 uur geldig voor aanvang.
  5. Tegoeden zijn geldig tot einde seizoen.

Door Skicentrum Sassenheim

  1. Lessen kunnen worden aangepast, verplaatst of geannuleerd.
  2. Lessen kunnen worden samengevoegd bij lage deelname of veiligheid.
  3. Instructeurs kunnen worden vervangen.
  4. Indien mogelijk wordt een alternatief aangeboden.
  5. Anders wordt een tegoed verstrekt (geen restitutie).
  6. Vrijgekomen plekken kunnen opnieuw worden verkocht.
  7. Minimumdeelnemers gelden niet voor privélessen.

Artikel 8 – Blessureregeling

  1. Geldt bij blessure vóór start cursus.
  2. Annuleren via SkiBook + melding per e-mail.
  3. Bewijs kan worden gevraagd.
  4. Terugbetaling in tegoed:
    • 60 dagen: 75%
    • 30 dagen: 50%
    • 15 dagen: 25%
  5. Tegoed is persoonlijk.
  6. Geldig tot 365 dagen na uitgifte.

Artikel 9 – Deelnamevoorwaarden

  1. Deelname alleen indien veilig.
  2. Minimumleeftijd: ski 4+, snowboard 9+.
  3. Gewicht: 15–110 kg (richtlijn).
  4. Materiaal moet passend beschikbaar zijn.
  5. Groepsindeling en weigering mogelijk op basis van veiligheid.
  6. Beperkte schoenmaten beschikbaar.
  7. 15 minuten vóór aanvang aanwezig zijn.

Artikel 10 – Veiligheid en aansprakelijkheid

  1. Skiën/snowboarden brengt risico’s met zich mee.
  2. Deelname is op eigen risico.
  3. Instructies moeten altijd worden opgevolgd.
  4. Cursist is verantwoordelijk voor eigen fitheid.
  5. Geen aansprakelijkheid bij medische klachten (behalve opzet/grove schuld).
  6. Helm verplicht (zie artikel 11).
  7. Verzekering wordt aangeraden.

Artikel 11 – Helmplicht

  1. Helm is verplicht tijdens alle lessen.
  2. Uitzondering alleen met expliciete risico-acceptatie.
  3. Skicentrum mag deelname zonder helm weigeren.
  4. Deelname zonder helm is volledig op eigen risico.

Artikel 12 – Huisregels

  • Toegang op eigen risico
  • Instructies moeten worden gevolgd
  • Ouders verantwoordelijk voor kinderen
  • Ongepast gedrag = verwijdering zonder restitutie
  • Geen alcohol tijdens lessen
  • Eigen consumpties niet toegestaan (behalve uitzonderingen)
  • Identificatie kan worden gevraagd
  • Honden toegestaan aan lijn
  • Rookverbod binnen
  • Cameratoezicht mogelijk
  • Noodinstructies opvolgen

Artikel 13 – Aansprakelijkheid en eigendommen

  • Eigen spullen = eigen risico
  • Parkeren = eigen risico
  • Materiaal correct gebruiken
  • Schade door misbruik wordt verhaald
  • Geen aansprakelijkheid voor indirecte schade

Artikel 14 – Lessen in het buitenland

  1. Ook van toepassing op buitenlandse lessen.
  2. Overeenkomst blijft met Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  3. Uitvoering kan lokaal plaatsvinden.
  4. Aanvullende voorwaarden kunnen gelden.

Artikel 15 – Overmacht

  1. Geen verplichtingen bij overmacht.
  2. Voorbeelden: storingen, ziekte, weer, overheidsmaatregelen.
  3. Lessen kunnen worden aangepast of geannuleerd.
  4. Tegoed kan worden verstrekt in plaats van restitutie.
  5. KNMI code rood kan annulering veroorzaken.
  6. Code geel/oranje: lessen gaan door.

Artikel 16 – Toepasselijk recht

  1. Nederlands recht is van toepassing.
  2. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan een Nederlandse rechter.

Artikel 17 – Slotbepalingen

  1. Fouten en wijzigingen voorbehouden.
  2. In niet-voorziene gevallen beslist Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  3. Nederlandse tekst is leidend.
  4. Boekingen betekenen akkoord met deze voorwaarden.
  5. Ook via derden gemaakte boekingen vallen hieronder.
  6. Geldende versie staat in SkiBook en bevestiging.

General Terms and Conditions Skicentrum Sassenheim 2026-04-15

Article 1 – Definitions

Skicentrum Sassenheim    The company Skicentrum Sassenheim, provider of indoor ski and snowboard lessons and related activities.

SkiBook                                           The online booking and administration system of Skicentrum Sassenheim through which participants can book, reschedule or cancel lessons, courses, and subscriptions.

Participant (Cursist)              Any natural person taking part in a lesson, course, activity or subscription of Skicentrum Sassenheim.

Visitors                                             Any person visiting the Skicentrum Sassenheim location without participating in a lesson or activity.

Instructors (Leraren)             Ski or snowboard instructors engaged by Skicentrum Sassenheim who are authorized to provide lessons.

Employees (Medewerkers) All persons working for or on behalf of Skicentrum Sassenheim, including staff and third parties engaged by Skicentrum Sassenheim.

Ski machine                                 An indoor rolling slope on which ski and snowboard lessons take place.

Lesson (Les)                                 A ski or snowboard activity organized by Skicentrum Sassenheim, including flex lessons, private lessons, courses, training sessions, and other lesson formats.

Last-minute lesson                 A ski or snowboard lesson booked within twenty-four (24) hours before the start. Last-minute lessons are scheduled based on available capacity in existing lessons and have the same duration as regular lessons.

Season (Seizoen)                      The period during which Skicentrum Sassenheim offers lessons within a calendar year, generally from September to March. The exact duration may be determined annually by Skicentrum Sassenheim.

Subscription (Abonnement) An agreement whereby a participant is entitled to take lessons or training for a certain period, such as a course package or ski team participation, under the applicable conditions.

Article 2 – Applicability

  1. These terms apply to all offers, agreements, lessons, courses, subscriptions, and services of Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  2. By booking via SkiBook, the participant confirms having read and agreed to these terms.
  3. During booking, the participant must explicitly accept these terms; without acceptance, no agreement is concluded.
  4. Additional course-specific terms may apply. In case of conflict, course-specific terms prevail.
  5. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  6. If any provision is void or invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
  7. Skicentrum Sassenheim may amend these terms; changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law.

Article 3 – Formation of the agreement

  1. An agreement is formed when a booking is completed via SkiBook and confirmed by the participant.
  2. A confirmation email serves as proof of the agreement.
  3. Skicentrum Sassenheim may refuse or cancel bookings for valid reasons (e.g. technical issues, overbooking).
  4. Access may be denied in case of inappropriate or disruptive behavior; no refund applies.
  5. The participant is responsible for correct personal data entry.
  6. Obvious errors in pricing or information are not binding.
  7. For minors, the agreement is concluded by a parent or legal guardian.
  8. Administrative records of Skicentrum Sassenheim serve as proof unless proven otherwise.
  9. Participants are liable for damage caused by improper use of equipment (normal wear excluded).

Article 4 – Personal data

  1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
  2. Data such as name, address, contact details, age, skill level, photo, and lesson history may be recorded.
  3. Data is only accessible to the participant and relevant staff.
  4. Full privacy policy is available via the website and SkiBook.

Article 5 – Payment

  1. Payments are made via SkiBook unless otherwise agreed.
  2. For bookings made more than 14 days in advance, a deposit is required; full payment is due at least 14 days before the lesson.
  3. For bookings within 14 days, full payment is due immediately.
  4. Late payment may result in reminders and cancellation.
  5. Payment obligations remain valid after cancellation.
  6. After payment, lessons may be rescheduled subject to availability.
  7. Non-payment may result in denied access.
  8. Skicentrum Sassenheim may adjust prices; changes do not affect existing bookings.
  9. Price changes only apply to new bookings or subscriptions.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal and cancellation

  1. Cancellation is possible via SkiBook subject to applicable conditions.
  2. No statutory right of withdrawal applies to services scheduled on a specific date.
  3. A voluntary cooling-off period may apply in certain cases.
  4. If the first lesson is more than 7 weeks after booking, cancellation within 14 days is allowed. Otherwise, no cooling-off applies.
  5. Refunds are made within 14 days if applicable.

Article 7 – Cancellation and rescheduling

By the participant

  1. Specific cancellation rules may apply per lesson type.
  2. Participants are responsible for timely cancellation; otherwise, lessons are forfeited.
  3. Timely cancellation may result in a last-minute credit.
  4. Last-minute lessons are valid only within 24 hours before start.
  5. Credits are valid until the end of the season unless otherwise stated.

By Skicentrum Sassenheim

  1. Lessons may be modified, moved, or cancelled if necessary.
  2. Lessons may be combined due to low participation or safety reasons.
  3. Instructors may be replaced if needed.
  4. If rescheduling is impossible, credits are issued.
  5. No refund is provided unless legally required.
  6. Freed time slots may be reallocated.
  7. Minimum participant rules do not apply to private lessons.

Article 8 – Injury policy

  1. Applies if injury occurs before course start.
  2. Cancellation must be done via SkiBook and reported by email.
  3. Medical proof may be requested.
  4. Credit depends on timing of cancellation (75% / 50% / 25%).
  5. Credit is personal and non-transferable.
  6. Credit is valid for 365 days.

Article 9 – Participation requirements

  1. Participation is only allowed if deemed safe.
  2. Minimum ages: ski 4+, snowboard 9+.
  3. Physical requirements apply (including weight limits 15–110 kg).
  4. Participation depends on available suitable equipment.
  5. Safety-based refusal or group changes may occur.
  6. Equipment sizes are limited; lack of fit may prevent participation.
  7. First visit requires arrival 15 minutes early.

Article 10 – Safety and liability

  1. Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks.
  2. Participation is at own risk.
  3. Instructions must be followed at all times.
  4. Physical fitness is participant’s responsibility.
  5. Skicentrum Sassenheim is not liable for medical conditions or injuries, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
  6. Protective gear is advised; helmet is mandatory (see Article 11).
  7. Participants are advised to obtain insurance.

Article 11 – Helmet requirement

  1. Helmets are mandatory during all lessons.
  2. Exceptions may be granted upon explicit acceptance of risk.
  3. Skicentrum may refuse participation without helmet.
  4. Participant accepts additional risk when participating without helmet.

Article 12 – House rules

  1. Entry is at own risk.
  2. Instructions must be followed.
  3. Adults are responsible for minors.
  4. Misconduct may lead to removal without refund.
  5. No alcohol consumption before or during lessons.
  6. Own food/drinks not allowed (exceptions apply).
  7. ID may be requested.
  8. Pets allowed on leash if not causing disturbance.
  9. Smoking is prohibited indoors.
  10. CCTV may be in operation.
  11. Emergency instructions must be followed.

Article 13 – Liability and property

  1. Personal belongings are at own risk.
  2. Parking is at own risk.
  3. Equipment must be used properly.
  4. Participants are liable for damage due to misuse.
  5. No liability for indirect damages.

Article 14 – Lessons abroad

  1. Applies to lessons organized abroad.
  2. Agreement remains with Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  3. Skicentrum acts as intermediary; execution responsibility lies locally.
  4. Additional terms may apply.

 

Article 15 – Force majeure

  1. No obligation in case of force majeure.
  2. Includes technical failures, illness, weather, government measures, etc.
  3. Lessons may be modified or cancelled.
  4. Credits may be issued instead of refunds.
  5. KNMI code red may lead to cancellation with credit issued.
  6. Code yellow/orange: lessons continue.

Article 16 – Applicable law and disputes

  1. Dutch law applies exclusively.
  2. Disputes are submitted to a competent Dutch court.

Article 17 – Final provisions

  1. Errors and changes reserved.
  2. Unprovided cases are decided by Skicentrum Sassenheim.
  3. Dutch version is legally binding; translations are informational only.
  4. Booking implies acceptance of these terms.
  5. Third-party bookings also imply acceptance upon participation.
  6. Applicable version is provided at booking confirmation and in SkiBook.
